District Overview

As part of the HR Operations team at Kiewit, you will contribute to a cohesive and strategic human resources function that underpins our global success. Transitioning from decentralized groups to a streamlined shared service model, our HR Centers of Excellence foster innovation and partnership across all organizational levels. This district is dedicated to continuous improvement, inclusion, and delivering best-in-class HR services that support employees and leaders everywhere Kiewit operates.

Responsibilities

Utilize advanced sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, specialized job boards, employee referrals, and strategic market mapping, to identify high-impact talent.
Conduct thorough resume assessments and initial interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with role requirements.
Collaborate efficiently with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and develop targeted recruitment campaigns that attract diverse candidate pools.
Oversee candidate progression through screening, interviewing, and selection stages, ensuring a smooth and timely hiring process.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear, respectful communication, providing feedback, and responding promptly to inquiries.
Maintain meticulous records and generate recruitment metrics through the ATS to support data-driven decision-making and continuous process enhancements.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a relevant field is required, underscoring a solid foundation in organizational dynamics and people management.
Minimum of two years' specialized experience in talent acquisition, ideally within the construction or engineering industries, ensuring familiarity with sector-specific nuances and candidate expectations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust, influence stakeholders, and foster collaborative partnerships across diverse teams.
Proven expertise in negotiating employment offers and aligning recruitment strategies with broader business objectives enhances your effectiveness in this role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and LinkedIn Recruiter, along with adaptability to evolving recruitment technologies and methodologies, is essential.
