Original job description

My client is an operational consultancy but they don’t like to call themselves consultants. They are a collection of engineers, innovators and creators who work with companies across industries to simplify the complex, realize untapped potential, and uncover opportunities.

They know that their people are their superpower and loving your Monday to Friday is important to them.

They have been recognized as one of the top 10 Best Places to Work in Canada for the past 6 years which has something to do with their culture of rewarding great work with great experiences, fostering rapid career growth, and sharing the success of the business with the whole team.

They are looking for a junior and a mid level Executive Assistant to join their head office team who will play a pivotal role in supporting members of their senior team and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

This position involves supporting calendar management and coordination, email management and communication, liaising with leadership and actively managing their ‘to-do’ list, executive project/initiative support, and general administrative duties.

Help to prepare presentations, reports, and other documents, as well as attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items to ensure deadlines are met.
Monitor, track, and manage expenses.

Confident – You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to set clear expectations with multiple stakeholders including the leaders you’re supporting to drive the right processes and priorities.
Trustworthy - You have a ton of integrity and feel confident in your ability to manage sensitive information.
Team Player – You love working in a collaborative environment and building strong working relationships with business leaders and peers.
Attention to detail – You’re naturally driven to get the details right - all the time, every time.
Go-getter – When given a task, you can run with it and independently complete it effectively and on-time.
Great communicator – You have excellent verbal and written communication skills – you bring energy and professionalism into interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Tech-savvy – You know your way around commonly used computer software and applications and are a fast learner.
Experienced – you have experience managing 1 or more executives and have proven ability to up-rev processes that maximize the effectiveness of the role.

What you bring to the role.

Demonstrated proficiency as an Executive Assistant or similar role through 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook.

Proven time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
