About Kin Communications

Kin Communications is a full-service capital markets advisory firm based in Vancouver’s financial district with publicly traded clients in the mining and energy sectors.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, confidence, and an ability to cultivate relationships.

If you are good at learning a product, understanding what makes it compelling, and communicating that effectively to others, we want to hear from you.

You do not need to come from an investor relations or financial markets background. We provide training and are willing to invest in the right person who is motivated, coachable, and prepared to put in the work.

The ideal candidate is energetic, competitive, organized, and comfortable working independently. You should be confident communicating by phone and email and enjoy speaking with new people every day.

If you are interested in investing, public companies, capital markets, or learning how businesses raise capital and communicate with investors, this role offers significant hands-on exposure.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls and follow up with prospective and existing investors.
Respond to incoming shareholder and investor inquiries.
Build awareness and interest in client companies through consistent outreach and relationship development.
Develop and maintain relationships within the investment community.
Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s business, industry, catalysts and investment thesis.
Participate in weekly client and internal strategy meetings.
Maintain accurate investor and outreach records within our CRM.
Work closely with the team to support broader investor relations campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Interest in investing, financial markets or publicly traded companies.
Comfortable speaking with investors and prospective investors by phone.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to manage deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential or proprietary information.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general business software.
Previous sales experience is an asset, but not required.
CRM experience is an asset, with HubSpot experience preferred.
Previous financial markets or investor relations experience is an asset, but not required.

Location

This is an on-site position in downtown Vancouver.

At this time, we are only considering candidates who can reliably work from our Vancouver office. Candidates currently outside Greater Vancouver who are actively planning to relocate are encouraged to indicate that in their application.
