Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to a diverse caseload of clients, including those with musculoskeletal, sports-related, and orthopedic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical evaluations, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and exercise programs, and educating clients on injury prevention and functional recovery. The role involves close collaboration with other health professionals, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and adhering to professional and clinic-wide quality standards. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to a positive client experience through clear communication, empathy, and goal-oriented care. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Richmond Hill, ON.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in physiotherapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
- Strong skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation techniques.
- Ability to educate clients on injury prevention, safe movement strategies, and self-management to support long-term outcomes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to participating in continuing education and best-practice training.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current licensure/registration in good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including accurate documentation and caseload management in a busy clinical environment.
- Experience working with athletes or in a sports medicine setting is an asset; bilingualism (English/French) is considered an advantage.
