Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.
We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.
Edge Transportation is growing and we're helping qualified drivers become Owner Operators through our PowerLease Program.

Responsibilities
Transport freight across North America on an open-dispatch, coast-to-coast basis, including flat deck, heavy haul, over-dimensional, and drayage loads. Handle container transport as part of intermodal shipping, moving containers between ports, rail terminals, warehouses, and storage facilities.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Class 1A driver’s license and have at least two years of highway driving experience, including one year of flat or step deck experience. They must be safety-conscious, willing to run open dispatch coast to coast, have a clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions, and pass criminal record and drug screening checks.
