In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.
We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.
Edge Transport is growing and currently looking to recruit experienced class 1 Owner Operators for triaxle/tandem flat deck work. You can be located in Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg or Vancouver. This role is open dispatch and you will run through SK, AB, BC, MB, ON, QC and NB.

Responsibilities
Transport freight using a triaxle or tandem flat deck truck, with open dispatch across Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick. Work may involve full truckload, less-than-truckload, heavy haul, over-dimensional freight, and drayage services.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Class 1A driver’s license, have at least two years of highway driving experience, and have at least one year of flat or step deck experience. They must provide a highway tractor, be willing to work open dispatch, maintain a clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions, and pass criminal record and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
