- Support the Division/Department Manager in maintaining the company's ISO policies and procedures, and participate in departmental meetings and terminal-wide objectives.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Report any unsafe conditions or activities to the Supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Provide backup support within the department during peak workloads, vacation periods, and unplanned employee absences.
- Contribute to team initiatives and collaborate proactively to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Provide flexible support for after-hours calls and assist employees as needed.
- Perform general labour duties, including manual loading and unloading containers and using pump trucks when required.
- Ensure cargo is properly palletized and stretch-wrapped to maintain security and stability during handling and transportation.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), along with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to prepare and draft written correspondence effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and fellow employees.
