About Us

At KWE, we are one of Canada’s fastest growing 3PL service providers. With a global network and a commitment to excellence, we deliver world-class logistics solutions to our customers. Our success is built on the dedication of our people; many of our leaders started in entry-level roles and grew their careers with us. If you’re looking for a place where hard work and ambition are recognized and rewarded, we’d love to meet you.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Operations Agent to support customer service and sales activities within the Operations Department. In this role, you will act as a point of contact between internal team members and external customers, helping to ensure smooth communication and day-to-day coordination.

Responsibilities include assisting with customer inquiries, supporting sales-related tasks, and working with different teams to help resolve issues and meet customer needs in a timely and professional manner

What You’ll Do

Provide exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Give focused attention and support to assigned key accounts.
Prepare and submit accurate monthly reports as requested by management and customers.
Supply shipment updates for import and export customers and assist the Sales Department with rate negotiations and service quotations.
Maintain organized and accurate filing systems, update shipment information in the system, and ensure billing accuracy.
Coordinate shipments and distribute pre-alert notifications to customers and relevant internal departments as required.
Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Report any unsafe conditions or activities to the Supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Work under general guidance while carrying out assigned tasks and projects.
Establish appropriate work methods, sequencing, and scheduling to achieve assigned objectives while operating within established policies and guidelines.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

What You Bring

Formal academic training in a related field, with CITT or CIFFA certification preferred, combined with two to four years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedural guidelines.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, and documentation.
Effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to customers and employees.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, proportions, area, circumference, and volume.
Working knowledge of basic algebraic and geometric principles and their practical application.
Proficient in the use of personal computer applications, including email, record management systems, databases, word processing software, spreadsheets, and related business applications.

Compensation: Salary range starting from $55,000 to $64,000 per year, with opportunities for growth and advancement based on performance and contribution.
