ABOUT KLED
Kled is building the largest opt-in human data network in the world.
We are not a labeling firm. We are not a task marketplace.
We are a consumer application where people upload their real photos, videos, and documents and get paid continuously.
We then filter, standardize, and license that data to frontier AI labs and enterprises that need fresh, rights-aware training data.
Since launching our mobile app in 2026, we have:
- Reached #1 on the App Store (Finance) with 0 paid marketing
- Scaled to 600,000+ active data contributors
- Processed 5M uploads per day
- Raised $15M+ from investors behind SpaceX, Airbnb, Coinbase, xAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Spotify, Lyft, Uber, and more
Our mission is to let anyone download the app and earn a real living wage from uploading their data.
This listing is for one paid task in the Kled app: "Cluttered Surfaces for Counting". There is no interview and no minimum hours: download the app, open the task, and you are paid per accepted submission.
What you will do
Photograph a table with at least ten things on it, then count them and tell us the exact number.
Steps
Find or make a surface with at least ten separate objects on it
Photograph the whole surface from above or at a slight angle
Count the objects carefully
Enter the exact number and submit
What gets rejected
Do not guess the count
Do not stack objects so they cannot be seen
Do not use fewer than ten objects
Accepted: At least ten separately countable objects visible; user-stated count matches on review.
Pay
$0.65 per accepted photo. At a typical pace of about 2.5 minutes per photo, that is about $16 per hour. A 20-minute session of about 8 photos pays about $5.20. Up to 10 photos per upload. You are paid per accepted submission (piecework, independent contractor); submissions that break the rules are not paid. Payouts are made in the app (PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet).
Where and when
Open worldwide: the task runs in 100+ countries. Remote, on your own schedule. Independent contractor, piecework; this is not an employment position.
What you need
An iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later (the Kled app is iPhone-only right now)
18 or older
Your own writing, typed in the app
How to start
Download Kled from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/kled/id6752585718 (also at kled.ai/app).
Create your account and open Tasks.
Search "Cluttered Surfaces for Counting", read the brief and follow the on-screen steps.
Submit. Accepted submissions are paid in the app.
Every submission is reviewed, and you opt in to a commercial training license on each upload; accepted submissions are licensed to AI labs. Questions: support@kled.ai.
