Job Description

As a Junior Art Director, you’ll bring your design skills and creative curiosity to a team that turns ideas into meaningful healthcare experiences. This is an opportunity for emerging creatives who want to strengthen their visual craft while developing the conceptual thinking and storytelling skills that shape great art direction.

Working alongside Copywriters, Creative Directors, Strategists, and Medical partners, you’ll help bring campaign ideas to life across digital, social, print, and video. You’ll gain hands-on experience translating creative briefs into visually compelling, brand-aligned work while learning how creativity and strategy come together in a regulated healthcare environment.

Success in this role starts with strong design execution, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow through feedback.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute visual concepts, layouts, and campaign assets across digital, social, print, and video, translating creative briefs into engaging, brand-aligned work.
  • Create polished designs, storyboards, mockups, and presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on visual craft and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters, Creative Directors, Strategists, and Medical partners to develop creative work that aligns with brand strategy, audience needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in creative reviews, sharing your visual thinking and learning how to connect design decisions to strategic objectives.
  • Refine creative assets based on feedback while managing multiple assignments, deadlines, and versions throughout the creative development process

Qualifications

Required

  • A portfolio featuring at least four projects that demonstrate strong design craft, conceptual thinking, and visual execution across at least two mediums, such as digital, print, or video.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, demonstrated through completed design work.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate strategic objectives into thoughtful visual solutions, demonstrated through academic, freelance, or internship projects.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with experience balancing multiple assignments and incorporating feedback into creative work.

Desired

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience developing storyboards, wireframes, campaign mockups, or other materials that demonstrate the progression from concept to execution.
  • Exposure to healthcare, science, or regulated industries through coursework, internships, or portfolio projects.
  • Experience working collaboratively on creative projects, applying brand guidelines, and incorporating structured feedback.
  • Familiarity with motion design tools, such as Adobe After Effects.
