Job Description

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator supports Klick’s internal Brand Experience team in delivering social media and digital marketing programs across Klick-owned channels. The role brings content from research and ideation through copywriting, scheduling, publishing, and performance reporting, while also supporting CMS, email, landing page, and paid media execution. This role requires hands-on social management experience and on-site content capture at internal events.

What You’ll Do

Lead social media management and content creation (60%) by supporting Klick’s primary and secondary social calendars; coordinating review, approval, scheduling, and publishing; monitoring industry topics, social trends, and platform changes; writing and repurposing content; contributing to content concepts and initial creative direction for social posts and carousel assets; supporting short-form video from concept through editing and publishing; capturing content at on-site events; and tracking engagement and performance for recurring reporting.
Manage CMS publishing (20%) by building and updating Klick’s thought leadership hub using existing templates and quality-checking published content for accuracy, links, formatting, and brand consistency.
Support email and landing page execution (10%) by contributing to campaign copy, builds, quality assurance, scheduling, and campaign landing page development.
Support paid media execution (10%) through LinkedIn campaign setup, including ad copy writing, tracking, and pulling campaign performance data for reporting.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain a consistent pipeline of clear, engaging, on-brand content while taking ownership of recurring social and digital marketing programs.

Qualifications

Required:

1–2 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or communications within an in-house or agency environment, with examples of published digital or social content.
Demonstrated writing and editing experience producing clear, audience-appropriate social or digital content, with work samples or a portfolio considered an asset.
Hands-on experience supporting social media calendars and publishing workflows, including coordinating content review, approvals, scheduling, and publishing across multiple priorities.
Experience creating or coordinating short-form social content, including video, from concept or brief through editing and publication.
Experience supporting digital marketing execution across CMS publishing, email marketing, or paid media, with demonstrated attention to QA, links, formatting, tracking, and deadlines.
Experience using social channel performance or engagement data to contribute to recurring reporting and identify content or channel opportunities.

Desired:

Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
Experience with social media management and publishing tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout and
CMS platforms such as Contentful.
Experience creating or editing digital content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro,
CapCut, or comparable creative and video editing tools.
Familiarity with email and marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Mailchimp and experience supporting campaign builds, QA, or scheduling.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, including reviewing campaign performance, checking UTMs, or pulling data for reports.
Interest in healthcare, science, or technology topics and the ability to learn unfamiliar subject matter; previous healthcare experience is not required.

Additional Information

This posting is for an existing vacancy at Klick. The base salary range for this position is between CAD $55,000 - $65,000. The final amount offered will be determined based on several factors such as a candidate's work location, their unique skill set, education, and prior work experience.
