We are seeking a reliable and respectful Security Guard to join our team at KOG Security, specifically for cemetery locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for visitors and staff while ensuring the security of the premises.
position Responsibilities
- Patrol the cemetery grounds regularly to maintain security and deter any unauthorized activities
- Secure all entry and exit points, monitoring access to the cemetery
- Assist visitors with directions, information, and any other needs they may have
- Lock up designated areas of the location according to post orders
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, contacting relevant authorities when necessary
- Create detailed incident reports and escalate issues to upper management as required
- Follow all directives and instructions provided by KOG Security management
- Maintain a respectful and solemn demeanor appropriate for the cemetery environment
- One year Security Experience is a must.
- Must be 25 years of age for insurability
- Must have a Class G Driver's Licence and Clean Driving Abstract
- Excellent Customer Service, English language & communication abilities
- Must be comfortable walking, standing, patrolling
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License is required
- Eligibility to work full-time, legally in Canada without restrictions (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit only)

Responsibilities
Patrol cemetery grounds, secure access points, lock designated areas, and help visitors while maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Respond to emergencies, document incidents, escalate concerns, and follow management instructions and post orders.
Requirements
Applicants must have at least one year of security experience, be at least 25 years old, and hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License and a Class G driver's licence with a clean driving abstract. They must have strong English communication and customer service abilities, be comfortable walking, standing, and patrolling, and be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada without restrictions.
