The Delivery Driver / Material Handler is responsible for delivering materials, tools, and equipment to job sites, workshops, and service teams. The role also involves loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling, and maintaining an organized inventory. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and able to coordinate deliveries efficiently while supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilties

Delivery & Transportation

• Safely transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites, suppliers, and company facilities.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely to prevent damage.
• Coordinate deliveries with project managers, field teams, and shop personnel.
  
  

Warehouse / Shop Support

• Receive, organize, and prepare materials for delivery.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Assist with inventory tracking and shop organization.
• Support fabrication and field teams with material preparation as needed.
  
  

Vehicle & Safety

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations.
• Report vehicle issues, incidents, or delivery delays promptly.
• Handle construction materials, piping, mechanical equipment, and sheet metal components safely
  
  

Profile And Required Skills

• Valid G Class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (DZ license is an asset).
• 2+ years of delivery, construction, or material handling experience preferred.
• Mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing industry experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs; forklift experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and professional attitude
