Original job description

As the end-to-end owner of KORE Wireless's Request for Proposal (RFP) function, you will play a pivotal, strategic role in shaping where we compete and how we win in the global IoT marketplace. Utilizing Loopio, you will lead the complete bid lifecycle - from establishing rigorous bid/no-bid qualifying strategies alongside sales and executive leadership, to coordinating cross-functional experts in Product, Legal, and Finance to draft compelling, high-impact responses under tight deadlines. Beyond delivering polished, compliant bid packages, you will actively champion continuous improvement by maintaining a robust content library, analyzing win/loss performance data to refine future pursuits, and coaching a dedicated RFP team. Additionally, you will drive operational agility by partnering with the deal desk and managing cross-departmental projects with Revenue Operations and Sales Enablement, ensuring the entire function is scalable, strategic, and aligned with KORE's growth trajectory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Bid Strategy and Qualification

  • Run a bid/no-bid process with clear criteria (fit, margin, competitive position, delivery risk, effort) and make a recommendation to sales and executive leadership on every significant opportunity.
  • Work with the seller and sales leadership at the start of each pursued bid on win themes, differentiators, competitive positioning, and what the customer is really asking for.
  • Keep a bid calendar covering RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, with deadlines, effort estimates, and owners, so workload and conflicts are visible early.
  • Set response standards for what qualifies for full effort, what gets a lighter touch, and what gets declined.

Response Execution

  • Own the end-to-end response cycle: intake, kickoff, assignment, drafting, review, pricing alignment, executive sign-off, and submission, all managed in Loopio.
  • Run a kickoff on every pursued bid with scope, assignments, a response plan, and review gates before executive sign-off.
  • Coordinate subject matter experts in Product, Pre-Sales Architecture, Legal, Security, Finance, and Carrier Management, and hold them to response deadlines.
  • Write and edit responses so each one answers the question asked, reads in one consistent voice, and meets the buyer's format and compliance requirements.
  • Own the final response package, including compliance matrices, formatting, and submission logistics.
  • Manage clarification questions, buyer Q&A, and follow-ups through the seller.
  • Handle RFIs, security questionnaires, and due diligence requests through the same process, with the right level of effort for each.

Content Library and Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain the response content library in Loopio, covering connectivity, IoT platform, device certification, security, compliance, and carrier-related answers, with named owners and review dates.
  • Set a review cadence, retire outdated answers, and tag content by product, region, and compliance topic so it is easy to find and safe to reuse.
  • Work with Product and Carrier Management to capture approved language for new products, certifications, and carrier details as they launch.
  • Use Loopio reporting to find content gaps, track reuse, and cut the time subject matter experts spend on repeat questions.

Pricing and Commercial Alignment

  • Make sure pricing and commercial terms in every response match approved guardrails and what the deal desk can actually book.
  • Bring Strategic Pricing, Legal, and Finance into non-standard terms, redlines, and contract-related answers early in the cycle, not at submission.
  • Flag commitments, service levels, and liability language for Legal and executive review before anything goes out.

Win/Loss and Performance Reporting

  • Track win/loss outcomes on bids, capture the reasons, and seek buyer debriefs where possible.
  • Report bid volume, win rate, on-time submission, subject matter expert turnaround, and effort to the Director and Revenue Intelligence & Enablement leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Feed outcome data back into bid/no-bid criteria, pursuit strategy, and the content library.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years experience in RFP, Proposal, or bid management
  • 2 years in telecommunications, IoT, or a comparable B2B technology business
  • Proven record running complex, multi-stakeholder RFP responses to submission, including bid/no-bid decisions and executive review.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn technical input from subject matter experts into clear, accurate, customer-ready answers.
  • Experience building and maintaining a reusable response content library.
  • Ability to coordinate subject matter experts across functions and hold them to deadlines without direct authority.
  • Strong commercial judgment on pricing, margin, contract terms, and risk, with the judgment to know what sits within delegated authority and what to escalate, and the ability to explain a decision to a seller.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to hold firm on guardrails while keeping sellers moving
  • Experience with IoT connectivity, MVNO, or carrier-facing commercial models, including consumption-based and recurring revenue pricing is preferred
  • Familiarity with device certification, carrier product exceptions, and hardware and solutions quoting is also preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Loopio or a comparable RFP response management platform, including content library management preferred.
  • Experience supporting deal desk operations (quote review, approval workflows, pricing exceptions), driving process improvement, managing cross-functional projects, and leading or directing a team, with working command of Salesforce and a CPQ tool preferred.
  • Formal project management or process improvement credential (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field is preferred.
