Residential Concierge – Part-Time (Overnight)

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and attentive Overnight Residential Concierge to join our team at a residential high-rise building in Downtown Vancouver.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, demonstrates excellent judgment, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming residential environment during overnight hours.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly dependable, and capable of responding calmly and professionally to a variety of situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and attentive presence at the front desk throughout the overnight shift.
• Monitor building entrances, CCTV, intercoms, and access-control systems.
• Verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with building security procedures.
• Conduct scheduled building patrols and inspections of common areas.
• Identify and promptly report security concerns, maintenance issues, and safety hazards.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and urgent resident concerns.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents and visitors.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, security logs, and shift documentation.
• Prepare clear and detailed handover notes for the incoming morning team.
• Communicate effectively with building management and emergency personnel when required.
• Follow all established building policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.                                       
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide clear, accurate reports and communicate effectively in challenging situations.
• Previous experience in residential concierge services, security, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional during emergencies or unexpected situations.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent overnight presence.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with building security systems are assets.
• Professional, respectful, and service-oriented attitude.
