Job Title: PL/SQL Developer
Location: Montreal, QC - Canada - Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite
Duration: 12+ Months
Interview: WebEx and In-person
Job Description:
Required Skills
- Expertise in DB2 UDB or PL/SQL with writing complex data retrieval queries and stored procedures
- Expertise in Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
- Solid experience with Python / PERL.
- Good knowledge of Autosys or any similar scheduling tool
- Knowledge and good understanding of object-oriented programming
- Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents
- Good time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once
- Strong desire to understand and learn domain
Desired Skills
- Experience in Green Plum
- Experience with Informatica
- Experience in a financial services/banking industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 UDB or PL/SQL database.

Responsibilities
Develop complex data retrieval queries, stored procedures, and scripts using DB2 UDB or PL/SQL, along with Linux/Unix shell scripting and Python or Perl. Interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents while managing multiple deliverables accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field, or equivalent experience, and at least seven years of experience developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 UDB or PL/SQL. Candidates should also have expertise in shell scripting, solid Python or Perl experience, scheduling-tool knowledge, object-oriented programming knowledge, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
