Provide assistance in designing and implementing a review and approval workflow for assessing services permissibility for audit clients;
Employ research, critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate the firm’s Independence and relationships with respect to its existing and prospective audit clients;

Assist with preparing technical alerts, guidance, training materials and other deliverables for distribution across the firm;
Assist with independence projects on an ad-hoc and on-going basis, and assist with the identification of process enhancements and improvements.

At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

What you bring to the role

Post-Secondary education in a business, accounting/finance, or related field required.
Ability to learn the independence rules and to apply them accordingly.
