Original job description

Overview

At KPMG in Canada, our people bring their unique perspectives to Canada’s most important challenges. Here, you can build momentum that reaches beyond our business, develop skills for the future, and take ownership of your career with support at every stage. Join a firm where your career can make a difference.

You will be part of a diverse team of passionate professionals who are transforming the way organizations work through data, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

We are looking for a Manager, Copilot and AI Productivity to contribute to the growth of our AI practice in Quebec. This individual will play a key role in developing service offerings, leading strategic engagements, and supporting our clients in the adoption of Microsoft Copilot and generative artificial intelligence technologies. The role combines strategic vision, business development, technological expertise, and transformation leadership.

What you will do

Practice Development and Market Leadership

Contribute to the strategy and growth of the Copilot practice and, more broadly, to our AI Productivity practice in Quebec.
Develop and ensure the continued evolution of service offerings related to Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, and agentic AI.
Collaborate with industry and functional teams to integrate AI into existing services.
Develop methodologies, accelerators, reusable assets, and market perspectives.
Participate in thought leadership activities, conferences, publications, and client events.

Client Relationships and Business Development

Act as a strategic advisor to executives and build lasting relationships based on trust.
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
Lead executive workshops, ideation sessions, and maturity assessments.
Develop proposals and contribute to responses to requests for proposals.
Support sales teams in structuring and positioning opportunities.

Transformation, Adoption and Value Creation

Design and lead Microsoft Copilot adoption programs.
Define AI-powered transformation roadmaps.
Support organizations in identifying and prioritizing high-value use cases.
Define metrics and measurement mechanisms for value, productivity, experience, and adoption.
Develop change management, communication, and user engagement strategies.
Establish and support communities of champions and power users.

Governance and Responsible AI

Advise clients on AI-related target operating models.
Contribute to the implementation of governance, risk management, and compliance structures.
Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology capabilities, and organizational requirements.
Support the definition of AI-related roles, responsibilities, and oversight mechanisms.

Team Leadership

Coach, engage, and develop talent within the practice.
Act as a coach and mentor to Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Directors.
Foster knowledge sharing and the continuous development of AI skills.
Contribute to recruitment, capacity planning, and team growth.

What you bring to the role

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree or certifications in AI, Microsoft technologies, or digital transformation are considered assets.
Significant experience in consulting, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, or digital productivity.
Demonstrated experience advising and supporting leadership teams and senior executives.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, generative AI, and related governance considerations.
Experience in business development, account management, or executive relationship development.
Excellent communication, facilitation, synthesis, and influencing skills.
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary, and fast-growing environment.
Proficiency in French and English to collaborate with clients and colleagues in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally.

Qualities that will help you succeed

Strategic thinking and a strong focus on results and business value.
Ability to explain complex concepts in clear terms and engage diverse audiences.
Credibility with senior executives and ease in executive-level conversations.
Collaborative leadership, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Ability to turn innovation into concrete, responsible, and measurable solutions.

Why join KPMG?

Contribute to the transformation of some of Canada’s largest organizations.
Help build the next generation of artificial intelligence service offerings.
Collaborate with specialists in strategy, data, cybersecurity, transformation, and Microsoft technologies.
Develop your expertise in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and impact-driven environment.
Play a leading role in shaping the evolution of the AI market in Quebec

This position requires written and oral fluency in English because it involves interpretation and application of English standards, guidance, laws and regulations, servicing of English-speaking clients located across Canada and collaboration with English Speaking colleagues located outside of Quebec.

Providing you with the support you need to be at your best

Our Values, The KPMG Way

Integrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what matters

KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential. A diverse workforce is key to our success and we believe in bringing your whole self to work. We welcome all qualified candidates to apply and hope you will choose KPMG in Canada as your employer of choice.

Adjustments and accommodations throughout the recruitment process

At KPMG, we are committed to fostering an inclusive recruitment process where all candidates can be themselves and excel. We aim to provide a positive experience and are prepared to offer adjustments or accommodations to help you perform at your best. Adjustments (informal requests), such as extra preparation time or the option for micro breaks during interviews, and accommodations (formal requests), such as accessible communication supports or technology aids, are tailored to individual needs and role requirements. You will have an opportunity to request an adjustment or accommodation at any point throughout the recruitment process. If you require support, please contact KPMG’s Employee Relations Service team by calling 1-888-466-4778.

AI Usage

We embrace the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the candidate experience and streamline our recruitment processes. AI tools may help with organizing applications or surfacing relevant qualifications. However, no hiring decisions are made using AI. Every hiring decision is made by our hiring managers and recruitment professionals, who are equipped with training that empowers them to use these tools responsibly. AI technologies used in our recruitment process undergo detailed risk assessments, including security and privacy requirements, that align with KPMG’s Trusted AI framework.

We believe technology should empower human judgment, not replace it. It’s one of the many ways we’re delivering on our vision of being a technology-first, people-driven firm.
