Join a firm where your career can make a difference.

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

Are you a talented leader with a proven track record for motivating teams and delivering exceptional client service?

Our People & Change team in Ottawa is looking for a professional like you with the skills and drive to make a real difference.

KPMG’s People & Change Advisory Practice transforms organizations by changing the way people lead, manage and develop. In an age of constant disruption, game-changing trends, and perpetual transformation we help our clients drive business value and achieve strategic goals through the optimization of their people and organizational agenda. We help CHROs make their function future ready.

Our practitioners deliver strategic and operational consulting services related to organizational effectiveness and change, human resource planning and transformation. From developing talent strategies to optimizing and reshaping both the workforce and HR function, our knowledgeable advice enables improved performance from our clients’ people and their organizations.

What you will do

We are looking for a Manager to strengthen our Management Consulting practice. If you have a background in Change Management, Workforce / HR transformation or Organizational Design within transformational programs, this may be the opportunity for you.

As a Manager in our People & Change practice, you will support the delivery of client engagements, contribute to project execution, and play an active role in developing team capabilities and client relationships by:

Supporting the planning and delivery of client engagements, ensuring high-quality outputs aligned to client expectations
Leading workstreams across transformation programs, including Change Management, Workforce / HR transformation and organizational design initiatives
Managing day-to-day project execution, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and risks
Working collaboratively with senior leaders to deliver project milestones on time and on budget
Coaching and supporting junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Developing client-ready deliverables, including presentations, reports, and transformation roadmaps
Building strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and delivery excellence
Identifying opportunities to enhance client impact and support business development efforts through proposal development and market research
Contributing to internal practice initiatives such as knowledge development, recruiting, and team growth
Supporting the design and implementation of people-focused transformation solutions, including change management strategies and organizational effectiveness initiatives

What you bring to the role

5–8 years of experience in Change Management, HR/Workforce transformation, organizational design, or people-related consulting work
Experience working on transformation or project-based environments, ideally within consulting or large complex organizations
Strong project management capabilities with experience managing workstreams and delivering against deadlines
Demonstrated ability to develop client-ready materials and communicate insights clearly
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships
Exposure to Change Management, Workforce / HR transformation or organizational design engagements
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within teams
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and facilitation skills
Undergraduate degree in business, human resources, behavioral sciences, or a related field
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CHRL/CHRP, PMP, Prosci) considered an asset

A diverse workforce is key to our success and we believe in bringing your whole self to work. We welcome all qualified candidates to apply and hope you will choose KPMG in Canada as your employer of choice.

Adjustments and accommodations throughout the recruitment process

At KPMG, we are committed to fostering an inclusive recruitment process where all candidates can be themselves and excel. We aim to provide a positive experience and are prepared to offer adjustments or accommodations to help you perform at your best. Adjustments (informal requests), such as extra preparation time or the option for micro breaks during interviews, and accommodations (formal requests), such as accessible communication supports or technology aids, are tailored to individual needs and role requirements. You will have an opportunity to request an adjustment or accommodation at any point throughout the recruitment process. If you require support, please contact KPMG’s Employee Relations Service team by calling 1-888-466-4778.

AI Usage

We embrace the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the candidate experience and streamline our recruitment processes. AI tools may help with organizing applications or surfacing relevant qualifications. However, no hiring decisions are made using AI. Every hiring decision is made by our hiring managers and recruitment professionals, who are equipped with training that empowers them to use these tools responsibly. AI technologies used in our recruitment process undergo detailed risk assessments, including security and privacy requirements, that align with KPMG’s Trusted AI framework.

We believe technology should empower human judgment, not replace it. It’s one of the many ways we’re delivering on our vision of being a technology-first, people-driven firm.
