We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our growing practice with a specialized focus on Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). The successful candidate will play a leadership role in shaping and growing the TPRM practice, originating and expanding client relationships, and overseeing the delivery of complex, high-impact engagements. The Senior Manager will be accountable for engagement strategy, commercial performance, quality, and executive stakeholder relationships, while providing direction to multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with other TPRM leaders across geographies and industries. This role offers the opportunity to influence our market strategy, develop differentiated solutions, and lead challenging and strategic programs that deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and the practice.
What you will do- Set the strategic direction for, lead, and oversee a portfolio of complex TPRM client engagements, with accountability for scope, delivery approach, quality, financial performance, and outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, translating regulatory, operational, technology, and business priorities into pragmatic TPRM strategies and transformation roadmaps.
- Own key client relationships, proactively identify emerging needs, and expand accounts through differentiated offerings and sustained executive engagement.
- Provide executive oversight across engagement teams, empowering managers and team members while ensuring effective governance, risk escalation, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
- Coach and develop managers and emerging leaders, build succession capability, and foster a high-performing and inclusive team culture.
- Shape and oversee TPRM advisory services, including risk and control frameworks, continuous monitoring, digital transformation, AI enablement, procurement integration, managed services, and risk technology implementation.
- Lead market and practice development by shaping go-to-market priorities, directing proposals, developing thought leadership, and coordinating with internal account and industry teams.
- Originate and lead cross-service opportunities across Cyber, Resiliency, Procurement, Technology Risk, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Define and execute practice growth initiatives informed by market trends, client demand, emerging regulation, and investment priorities.
- Develop strategic alliances with leading TPRM platform, data, and market intelligence providers to enhance the practice’s capabilities and market position.
- Oversee the design and delivery of AI solutions that enable clients to identify, assess, measure, monitor, and manage third-party risk at scale.
- Advance reusable methodologies, tools, accelerators, and industry-specific solutions that improve delivery consistency, efficiency, and client value.
- Represent the practice in senior client forums, industry events, and executive discussions, bringing a forward-looking perspective on emerging third-party risks and regulatory expectations.

What you bring to the roleThe successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviors:
- Ten or more years of progressive professional experience, including at least seven years in Third-Party Risk Management and demonstrated leadership of complex client engagements or enterprise programs.
- A university degree, preferably in business, risk management, compliance, technology, or a related discipline.
- A risk management, assurance, or professional designation, such as CRM, MBA, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent credential.
- Deep, current knowledge of the Canadian regulatory landscape, including OSFI B-10, E-21, and B-13, together with leading global TPRM practices and emerging regulatory expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to shape strategy, develop executive-level recommendations, and translate complex risk issues into actionable business priorities.
- A proven record of building trusted relationships with senior executives, influencing decisions, and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing engagement economics, developing proposals, originating opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, including the ability to delegate effectively, coach managers, and build sustained team capability.
- Ability to oversee multiple complex assignments, establish priorities, manage interdependencies, and maintain accountability for quality and deadlines.
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and executive communication skills, with experience leading workshops and presenting to senior governance forums.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to make sound decisions with appropriate consultation and escalation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt methods and approaches to meet client and market needs.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, data, and risk technology to improve business outcomes and transform TPRM processes.
- Broad knowledge across relevant risk domains, including IT and Cyber, Business Continuity and Resilience, Financial, Privacy, Compliance, and ESG-related risk.
- Strong understanding of procurement, supplier management, outsourcing, managed services and the end-to-end third-party lifecycle.

KPMG Ontario Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $116,000 to 171,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications.
