Position Summary

We’re looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Lindsay office. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with people, providing great customer service, and being part of a busy office environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also providing day-to-day administrative support to the team.

Position Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Role Status: Temporary Replacement

Location: Lindsay

Primary Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service to clients via phone, email, and in person
Greet, welcome, and direct visitors appropriately
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information as needed
Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, collating, and faxing
Accept insurance payments from clients and issue receipts
Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers
Support the office with additional administrative duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

Technical & Interpersonal Skills

Excellent communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and presentation
Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Sound computer and administrative skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma required
Previous administrative or receptionist experience is considered an asset
Working knowledge of EPIC is considered an asset

Compensation Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Compensation is based on a full-time 37.5-hour work week and will be dependent upon the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
