Responsibilities
Kristian Electric is looking for a Parts Technician to join our Calgary branch. As a Parts Technician, you will be responsible for managing, looking up, and finding parts for customers and technicians for all welder and overhead crane parts. The ideal candidate will be:

Role Summary
- As the Parts Technician, you will be the main point of contact on the Order Desk for all parts sales related to welders, overhead cranes, and other electrical/maintenance supplies. You will also identify, organize, price, and quote crane, welder, and electrical/maintenance parts and supplies.
Educational Requirements
- Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Parts Technician certification is an asset
Experience And Skills Required
- 2 years’ experience working as a Parts Technician or in a parts/order desk role
- Experience working with crane, welder, or electrical parts is an asset
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills as a main point of contact for customers coming in for any parts, order inquiries, and order desk sales
- Answering phones and e-mails for parts and order inquiries
- Navigating customers to service areas for service inquiries
- Maintaining the showroom, ensuring display parts are adequately stocked and displayed
- Coordinate teams’ emails, inquiries, and direct-to-service
- Putting away stock as needed (with Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Controller) especially for convenience factor of order desk
- Creating sales orders and maintaining communication with customers for updates
- Preparing quotations for sales orders
- Assisting other branches for any parts/supplies or order inquiries
- Organizing stock transfers
- Continuous improvement and knowledge development regarding parts and supplies
