Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- 5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
- Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
- The ability to use TSO and ISPF
- JCL skills.
- Ability to write REXX and Working Knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
- z/OS Automation Migration Projects
Your experience should include implementing and using following products, with a desire to expand your skills to cover others:
- NetView for z/OS; System Automation for z/OS
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of other Z software, including the system operation, configuration and automation, z/OS system startup and shutdown, SMP/E
- Knowledge of the products that compete against the IBM products listed previously.
- Knowledge with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z

Responsibilities
Provide operational, service, consulting, or support expertise in a mainframe environment, including work with z/OS automation and migration projects. Implement and use NetView for z/OS and System Automation for z/OS, and support automated IBM Z system configurations.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of experience in mainframe operations, strong written and communication skills, and proficiency with TSO, ISPF, JCL, and REXX. Working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database and experience with NetView for z/OS and System Automation for z/OS are expected; knowledge of other z/OS software, SMP/E, and competing products is preferred.
