Senior Cloud Architect – Azure & AWS

Location: Hybrid | Time Zone: EST | Employment Type: Contract

Must-Have Skills:

  • 12+ years of IT/Cloud/Solution Architecture experience.
  • 5+ years of strong Azure & AWS enterprise architecture experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, VM, Networking, Functions, Storage, Entra ID) and AWS (EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, VPC, S3, IAM).
  • Strong hands-on coding in Python, Java, C#, Node.js, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM, and Ansible experience.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
  • Strong cloud security, networking, IAM, Zero Trust, and governance knowledge.
  • Excellent HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, ADRs, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience leading cloud migration, modernization, and multi-cloud initiatives.
  • Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.

Lead cloud architecture, migration, modernization, and multi-cloud initiatives across Azure and AWS. Develop architecture designs and technical documentation while providing technical leadership and communicating with clients.

Requirements

Requires 12+ years of IT, cloud, or solution architecture experience, including 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience with Azure and AWS. Candidates must have hands-on cloud platform, coding, infrastructure-as-code, container, CI/CD, security, networking, IAM, governance, and technical documentation experience.
