About Our Practice
At South Edmonton Prosthodontics, we restore confidence, function, and smiles. As a premier prosthodontic practice, our two dental specialists, Dr. Brian Kucey and Dr. Cathy Kucey, specialize in complex restorative care, implant dentistry, full-mouth reconstructions, and cosmetic transformations. We pride ourselves on delivering a luxury patient experience and cutting-edge clinical excellence. We are looking for an empathetic, organized, and numbers-savvy Treatment Coordinator to bridge the gap between clinical diagnoses and case acceptance for life-changing treatment delivery.
The Role
As our Prosthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you are the concierge of the patient’s journey. Complex prosthodontic care can feel overwhelming to patients. Your mission is to simplify the complex, present comprehensive treatment plans with clarity, and help patients overcome financial or emotional barriers to saying "yes" to their care.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Advocacy & Consultation: Guide patients through their custom prosthodontic treatment plans following their consultation with the doctor. Explain clinical procedures, timelines, and sequencing in motivational, enthusiastic, warm, accessible language.
- Financial Strategy & Case Presentation: Present multi-stage, high-value financial plans clearly. Confidently discuss total case costs, phased payment strategies, third-party financing options, and insurance optimization.
- Seamless Scheduling: Coordinate complex, multi-appointment surgical and restorative schedules, ensuring seamless collaboration between our clinical team and external referring specialists.
- Follow-up & Lifecycle Management: Maintain an organized pipeline of pending treatment plans. Follow up with patients thoughtfully to answer lingering questions and nudge cases toward scheduling.
- Referral Relations: Act as a key point of contact for referring dentists and other health care providers, maintaining clear communication regarding mutual patient care.
What We Are Looking For
- Dental Background: Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience, ideally within a specialty practice (prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery) or high-end cosmetic general practice.
- Financial Literacy: Proven success presenting large, complex treatment utilizing dental financing structures.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Dexis, CBCT, digital smile design, and digital charting.
- The "Soft Skills": Exceptional active listening, deep empathy, and a polished, professional demeanor. You must love building authentic relationships with patients and help with their case acceptance.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $60-100K (Commensurate with experience)
- Bonuses: performance bonus or commission tied to practice production, case-acceptance rates, or overall office collections
- Benefits: Dental & Health spending
- Paid holidays
- Continuing education and professional development support to help elevate your skills
