Role Description The Assistant role at Kumon Fort Saskatchewan is a paet-time, on-site position based in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The Assistant will support the daily operations of the learning center, including preparing and organizing worksheets, marking assignments according to Kumon guidelines, and recording student progress accurately. This role involves guiding students through their work, providing encouragement, and helping maintain a quiet, focused learning environment. The Assistant will also assist with scheduling, greeting students and families, and answering basic inquiries about center procedures. Additional responsibilities may include light administrative tasks, organizing materials, and supporting the Instructor in implementing the Kumon Method consistently.

- Clear, respectful communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and team members.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain an orderly learning environment.
- Comfort working with children and youth in an educational setting, with patience and a supportive attitude
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow established processes and guidelines.
- Prior experience in tutoring, childcare, education, or customer service is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in education or related fields is an advantage.
