The group provides transportation services through Kuthala Transport, offering a wide range of trucking and supply chain solutions. Its equipment-focused businesses include Kuthala Equipment Sales and Kuthala Equipment Leasing, supporting clients with used equipment sales and flexible rental options. Kuthala Storage and Kuthala Fleet Solutions offer warehousing, outdoor storage, fuel cards, and 24/7 equipment repair and towing services. Additional services include private lending through Kuthala Capital, heavy equipment parts through Kuthala Parts, and investment opportunities via Kuthala Real Estate.

Role Description The Accounting AR & AP role is a full-time, on-site position based in Georgetown, ON. The role involves managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, including processing invoices, recording payments, reconciling statements, and monitoring aging reports. The team member will prepare and maintain accurate financial records, assist with month-end closing activities, and support internal and external audits as needed. Daily responsibilities include communicating with vendors and customers to resolve billing inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies, and coordinating with operations and management across Kuthala Group divisions. The role also includes contributing to process improvements in the accounting function and maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment posting, and statement reconciliation.
Strong skills with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, general ledger entries, and month-end closing procedures.
Attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and solid organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
Ability to work on-site in Georgetown, ON and collaborate in a fast-paced, multi-division environment.
Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; a diploma or degree is preferred.
Previous experience in AR/AP or general accounting, ideally within logistics, transportation, or related industries, is an asset.
