Company Description KUTHALA GROUP is a privately held company with diversified divisions across transportation, equipment, storage, fleet solutions, finance, parts, and real estate. The organization operates throughout North America, providing trucking services, equipment sales and leasing, and extensive warehousing and outdoor storage capacity. Its fleet solutions include fuel cards, 24/7 equipment repairs, and towing, supported by a broad service network. KUTHALA GROUP also offers private lending for working capital, equipment, business, and real estate, as well as investment opportunities through its real estate activities and parts supply operations.

Role Description The Accounts Payable Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and contracts, and coding expenses to appropriate accounts. The Accounts Payable Administrator will prepare and schedule payments, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner. Daily tasks include maintaining organized financial records, supporting month-end close activities, responding to internal and external inquiries, and collaborating with accounting and operations teams to ensure efficient payables processes. The role also supports continuous improvement of accounts payable procedures and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Strong Accounting and Finance skills, with experience in accounts payable processes and general ledger coding.
Proficient Analytical Skills for investigating discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and interpreting financial data.
Effective Communication abilities to interact with vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Experience with Account Reconciliation, including vendor statement reconciliation and support for month-end closing.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; advanced skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Previous experience in a similar accounts payable or accounting role; exposure to multi-entity or multi-division environments is an asset.
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
