Company Description KUTHALA GROUP is a privately held company with divisions across multiple industries, including transportation, equipment sales and leasing, storage, fleet solutions, capital lending, parts, and real estate. The group provides comprehensive trucking services, equipment rentals, and warehousing solutions across North America to support a wide range of business needs. Its transport and leasing operations maintain a large, constantly updated fleet, with used equipment available for sale at terminals throughout the region. KUTHALA GROUP also offers financial services such as working capital and multi-million-dollar loans, along with investment opportunities in real estate. The organization is focused on delivering practical, business-oriented solutions and long-term partnerships for its clients.

Role Description The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON. This role oversees the accounts receivable function, including monitoring customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, and managing collections to maintain healthy cash flow. Daily responsibilities include supervising AR staff, reviewing and reconciling accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, and preparing regular reports for management on aging, cash receipts, and outstanding balances. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve processes, support audits, and implement controls that reduce risk and enhance accuracy. The role also involves building and maintaining professional relationships with customers, responding to inquiries, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and cash flow management.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Account Reconciliation experience, including investigating variances and ensuring accurate account balances.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Auditing practices and internal controls to support compliance and periodic financial reviews.
Relevant skills such as proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and strong numerical accuracy are beneficial.
Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with experience in supervisory or team lead roles, is preferred.
Effective communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to work on-site and collaborate across departments, are essential.
