Role Description The Dispatch Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON. This position oversees daily dispatch operations, ensuring efficient routing, load planning, and driver scheduling in alignment with service commitments and safety standards. The role involves monitoring fleet activity, resolving service issues, coordinating with drivers, customers, and maintenance teams, and maintaining accurate dispatch records and reports. The Dispatch Supervisor supports continuous improvement by analyzing operational performance, addressing delays or challenges, and implementing process enhancements. This role also includes training and guiding dispatch staff, reinforcing compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess Dispatching experience in transportation or logistics, with ability to manage routing, scheduling, and load assignments.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with drivers, colleagues, and clients.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and applicable transportation safety and compliance standards.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with dispatch or TMS software, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in trucking, logistics, or fleet operations and a high school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in logistics or a related field is an asset).
• Ability to work on-site in Georgetown, ON, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing operational demands.
