Logistics Specialist

Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON. This position is responsible for coordinating daily transportation activities, managing shipment schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of goods across KUTHALA GROUP’s network. The role includes organizing documentation for domestic and export shipments, tracking freight, and resolving logistics issues with carriers, customers, and internal teams. The Logistics Specialist will monitor inventory and storage usage, optimize routes and loads, and support supply chain planning to reduce costs and improve service. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in logistics systems, preparing routine reports, and collaborating with operations and customer service teams to support overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to work effectively with internal teams, carriers, and clients.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for tracking shipments, reviewing logistics data, and supporting process improvements.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Export processes to handle routing, compliance, and documentation.
• Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing operations is beneficial.
• Proficiency with logistics software, spreadsheets, and basic data entry tools is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are preferred.
• Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an advantage.
