Through Kuthala Transport, the group provides a wide range of trucking services, including expedited less-than-truckload and truckload, trans-border, intermodal, temperature-controlled, and supply chain management across North America. Complementary divisions offer equipment sales and leasing, extensive indoor and outdoor storage solutions, and multi-fleet support such as fuel cards and 24/7 equipment repairs and towing. The group also provides private lending for working capital, equipment, business, and real estate, alongside a large inventory of heavy equipment parts available around the clock. Role Description The Office Associate (Transport) is a full-time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON. This position supports daily transport operations by handling documentation, data entry, and record-keeping related to shipments, loads, and carrier activities. The Office Associate will coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to schedule pickups and deliveries, confirm appointments, and provide status updates. Responsibilities include preparing and processing bills of lading and other transport documents, maintaining accurate information in internal systems, and assisting with basic reporting on fleet and shipment activities. The role also involves responding to phone and email inquiries, supporting office administration tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient and compliant transport operations.

Qualifications

Strong administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, document management, and record-keeping.
Effective communication skills for interacting with drivers, dispatchers, customers, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency with office software and transport-related systems (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, scheduling or dispatch tools).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced transport environment.
Attention to detail and a focus on compliance with transport documentation, processes, and company policies.
Customer service mindset, with a professional and courteous approach to resolving inquiries and issues.
Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or office administration is an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
