Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager – Industrial Services

The business development manager is responsible for identifying and creating new customer opportunities for business growth. Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, market share and existing customer base. Primary focus will be on driving sales, establishing partnerships and fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

In leading the industrial services business development function you will be responsible for:

Business Strategy- collaborate with senior management to define the business long term growth plan. Conduct market research, competition analysis, and identify new market opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Generation- generate leads to convert into opportunities, build a sales pipeline and convert prospects into customers. Develop and implement sales strategies, including sales targets, forecasting and personal performance targets. Source, build and close orders to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Customer Management- cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, partners and stakeholders. Attend customer meetings, take part in industry events or tradeshows. Act as the primary point of contact for new customer enquiries and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Market Expansion- identify and evaluate new market segments and customer demographics for potential business expansion. Develop market entry strategies and execute plans to penetrate new markets effectively.
Competitive Analysis- monitor industry trends, competitive landscape and market dynamics. Analyze competitor strategies, pricing models and value propositions. Use this information to develop strategies the differentiate Kymera’s offerings and gain a competitive advantage.

Collaboration- collaborate with cross functional teams such as customer service, engineering and operations to ensure alignment of business development activities with the company goals. Provide input and feedback to enhance our service offering based around customer feedback and market trends.
Reporting and Analysis- us the companies, systems to log & track, manage and generate business activities. Track and analyze performance against plans, prepare reports highlighting successes, areas for improvement, activity levels and market trends.

Qualifications:

Post secondary studies in engineering, science, or business preferred.
Minimum 5 years work experience in a technical sales or business development role with in the general industrial or heavy engineering markets.
Various combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Proven leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
