Position: Senior Technical Architect - Cloud & Endpoint Modernization
Client: Federal Government
Location: Ottawa, ON
Duration: 12 months contract with potential extensions
Language: English
Security: Secret Clearance required
We're looking for a Senior Technical Architect to support a large-scale enterprise cloud and endpoint modernization initiative.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of Technical Architecture experience
- Strong cloud architecture & migration experience - Azure preferred
- Hands-on Microsoft Intune & Windows Autopilot
- Strong PowerShell, Terraform & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Enterprise Windows endpoint management, software packaging & deployment
- Strong Identity/IAM, security & compliance integration
- Experience supporting large-scale environments with 5,000+ users/endpoints
- Secret security clearance required
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-managed and co-managed endpoint solutions
- Lead cloud/endpoint migrations, integration, pilots and phased rollouts
- Develop automation and IaC for provisioning, configuration and deployment
- Design endpoint security, compliance, application deployment and lifecycle management
- Integrate solutions with identity, networking, security and enterprise cloud platforms
- Create architecture diagrams, solution designs, runbooks and deployment documentation
- Provide technical leadership through implementation, troubleshooting, stabilization and transition to operations
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on Technical Architect who can bridge architecture and delivery - someone comfortable designing the solution and then leading its implementation, integration, deployment and operationalization.
Strong experience with Azure, Intune, Windows Autopilot, PowerShell, Terraform, Windows endpoint management and enterprise cloud transformation would be ideal.
