Hello, we're L'Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.

A Day in the Life

Our Management Trainee Programme is a full-time, permanent development track designed to fast-track high-potential talent into future leadership roles. Over 12 months in Montreal, you will complete two 6-month transversal rotations across our divisions - immersing yourself in commercial account strategy and digital business acceleration - before transitioning into your next permanent role.

  • Drive commercial growth across dedicated retailer accounts by analysing sell-out performance, forecasting demand, and executing joint business plans.
  • Lead end-to-end digital shelf activations, optimising e-retail media campaigns, conversion funnels, and product content across major Canadian retail platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth market visits and competitive category audits to turn shopper insights into commercial action.
  • Steer transversal projects connecting supply chain realities, consumer engagement, and omnichannel profitability with division directors.

We Are Looking For

You bring strategic ambition, entrepreneurial drive, and an appetite to master omnichannel beauty. You bring:

  • Commercial Acumen: Practical understanding of profit-and-loss dynamics, retail negotiations, and customer-centric growth drivers.
  • Digital & E-Commerce Fluency: Hands-on familiarity with e-retail ecosystems, performance metrics, and digital merchandising.
  • Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to dissect complex commercial data and deliver clear strategic insights.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Autonomy to challenge existing processes, take calculated risks, and deliver tangible business results.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in French and English to operate seamlessly across Canadian teams and retail partners.

What's In It For You

  • A place for you to leave your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential (here, you'll be encouraged to try new things and take risks!)
  • Real responsibility from day 1, there's no sitting on the sidelines at L'Oréal
  • An environment where people of every ethnicity, social background, age, religion, gender and sexual orientation as well as people with disabilities are accepted, can speak up, will thrive and are celebrated!
  • A place where you can contribute to something bigger! Many of our brands have societal/environmental causes to make a concrete difference
