Original job description

ABOUT L SQUARED

L Squared is a leading digital signage software company helping organizations transform the way they communicate with employees, customers, and visitors. Built on Microsoft Azure, our platform delivers enterprise grade security, powerful functionality, and measurable ROI while lowering the total cost of communication. From corporate offices and campuses to healthcare, manufacturing, and retail, L Squared helps organizations engage their audiences with content that is timely, relevant, and impactful.

We are growing, and we are looking for driven, competitive, and coachable Sales Development Representatives to join our Inside Sales team in North York and help fuel the next stage of that growth.

THE ROLE

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact between L Squared and our future customers. You will own the top of the funnel by identifying target accounts, engaging decision makers through multichannel outreach, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings for our Account Executives.

This is a high impact, high activity role for someone who thrives on conversations, embraces rejection as part of the process, and wants to build a long term career in technology sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute high volume outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and SMS/text outreach to generate qualified sales opportunities
Leverage a parallel dialing system to maximize call volume, connect rates, and live conversations with decision makers
Run Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, researching and targeting key accounts with personalized, multi touch outreach across multiple stakeholders
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against established criteria so Account Executives receive well qualified, sales ready opportunities
Build and manage a healthy pipeline, consistently booking discovery meetings and achieving weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets
Maintain accurate, up to date records of all activity, contacts, and opportunities in our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring clean data and clear handoffs
Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy
Stay informed on L Squared's products, industry trends, and competitors to deliver credible, value driven conversations
Continuously test, adapt, and improve your outreach approach based on results and coaching feedback

QUALIFICATIONS

2 Years of experience in a cold calling, outbound sales, or SDR/BDR role
Hands on experience with a CRM platform (HubSpot strongly preferred; Salesforce or similar also considered), including pipeline and activity management
Experience using a parallel dialer or power dialing system (such as Orum, Nooks, or similar)
Familiarity with Account Based Marketing (ABM) and targeted, multi stakeholder prospecting
Proven ability to use and adapt to multiple outreach channels, including LinkedIn (Sales Navigator an asset), cold calling, email sequencing platforms, and Aircall or similar calling and text messaging platforms
Strong tech savviness and the ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and processes
A track record of meeting or exceeding activity, meeting, and pipeline targets
Ability to work in office five days per week at our North York location

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Communication: You speak with confidence and clarity, listen actively, and tailor your message to anyone from a coordinator to a C level executive
Persistence: You view “no” as “not yet,” stay resilient through rejection, and follow up with purpose and professionalism
Time Management: You organize your day for maximum output, prioritize high value accounts, and balance calling, emailing, and research effectively
Coachability: You welcome feedback, apply it quickly, and are committed to improving every week
Curiosity: You ask thoughtful questions to uncover real business challenges and connect them to the right solution
Competitive Drive: You are motivated by goals and results, and you take full ownership of your numbers
Team Player: You share wins, learnings, and best practices to help the entire team succeed

EDUCATION

▪ Required: Post secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

WHAT WE OFFER

Base salary of $50,000 to $55,000 per year plus uncapped commission
A clear career path with growth opportunities into Account Executive and leadership roles
Ongoing sales training, hands on coaching, and mentorship from experienced sales leaders
The opportunity to sell a proven, Microsoft Azure built platform that delivers strong ROI for customers
A collaborative, high energy, in office team culture that celebrates wins together

HOW TO APPLY

If you are a motivated, results driven sales professional ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you would be a great fit for the Sales Development Representative role at L Squared.
