Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the Team Lead, IT Operations, the Coordinator, IT Operations will support the IT team in deploying and supporting technology operations for the head office and store network. The primary mandate will be to plan, coordinate, and ensure the execution of operational IT projects, including store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures, while ensuring compliance with established standards, timelines, and processes. The incumbent will also oversee equipment, vendors, and the department’s various administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all IT activities supporting store openings, relocations, renovations, and special projects;
- Coordinate vendors responsible for cabling, telecommunications, equipment installation, and specialized services.
- Follow up on work orders, purchase orders, and service requests.
- Manage communications with vendors and external partners.
- Prepare and support the required vendor follow-ups to ensure timelines and deliverables are met;
- Participate in managing the inventory of IT assets and help maintain accurate, up-to-date data;
- Assist the IT team with the procurement of technology equipment, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders;
- Follow up on invoices administratively and participate in the various approval cycles;
- Support maintenance and replacement activities for technology equipment in stores;
- Participate in creating documentation for employees, stores, and partners.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and currency of documentation.
- Contribute to any other project or activity related to the IT department.

Requirements
- College diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (communication with vendors and partners across Canada and the United States);
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
- Knowledge of IT, technology infrastructure, and network environments is an asset;
- Knowledge of the retail industry is an asset.
