Job Purpose
The primary function of the Filler Operator is to fill and package products using any one of the three types of fillers listed above, ensuring that cups are being filled, coded, sealed and packaged within specifications. Additionally, the Filler Operator performs adjustments to the process as required and trouble-shoots equipment problems. Also, the Filler Operator must be able to demonstrate the ability to run any and all of the pieces of the PLE (packaging line equipment).

Responsibility
- Perform CIP and related cleaning activities on the filler
- Equipment set-up and equipment assembly
- Operate equipment and set coders
- Operate all equipment on the line
- Assist with troubleshooting problems as they arise
- Perform on-line quality control checks, BOM checks, taking samples
- Production reporting and documentation
- Monitor product and sealing temperatures including package integrity and weight control
- Fill equipment with the appropriate packaging materials (BOM)
- Assist in sanitary maintenance as instructed by supervisor
- Environmental cleaning around the filler
- Preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and problem solve issues
- Previous experience as a Filler Operator working in a food manufacturing or similar environment
- Understanging and knowledge of GMP and food safety for production
- Highschool Diploma
- Leadership capability
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Able to lift 35 kg
- Good reading, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Good mathematical, mechanical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify, problem solve and research alternatives within the scope of the job
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as a participating and engaged team member
- Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities
Operate filler and packaging-line equipment to fill, code, seal, and package products according to specifications, while monitoring product quality, package integrity, temperatures, and weights. Perform equipment setup, cleaning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, production checks, and required documentation.
Requirements
Previous filler-operator experience in food manufacturing or a similar environment, knowledge of GMP and food safety, and a high school diploma are required. Candidates should demonstrate safety commitment, leadership, communication and teamwork skills, mechanical and mathematical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and the ability to lift 35 kg and work with minimal supervision.
