Role Description The Seasonal Sales Associate role is a part-time, on-site position based in Richmond, BC, within a Läderach chocolaterie. The individual in this role will greet customers, provide product information, offer samples, and guide guests in selecting chocolates and gifts that meet their needs. Daily responsibilities include handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining a clean and attractive store environment, stocking and merchandising products, and supporting inventory counts as required. The Seasonal Sales Associate will assist with seasonal promotions, gift wrapping, and preparation of displays to ensure a premium brand experience. This role also involves following food handling, safety, and company standards while contributing to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere during peak holiday and seasonal periods.

• Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage warmly with diverse customers and build positive relationships.
• Candidates should possess sales and retail skills, such as upselling, product recommendation, and comfort with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Candidates should possess communication and language skills, including clear verbal communication and basic written skills; additional language ability is an asset.
• Candidates should possess organizational skills, including attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and maintain a tidy, visually appealing store environment.
• Candidates should possess teamwork and reliability, including punctuality, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a collaborative approach in a fast-paced setting.
• Interest in premium chocolate, food, or hospitality environments, and prior experience in retail, customer service, or food service is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move product within reasonable limits, and follow food safety and hygiene standards is required.
