Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for IBM Maximo solutions.
Configure, customize, develop, and enhance IBM Maximo applications to meet business and operational requirements.
Design and implement Maximo solutions covering asset management, work management, preventive maintenance, inventory, procurement, and service management.
Develop and maintain Maximo workflows, automation scripts, escalations, communication templates, domains, and application configurations.
Design and implement Maximo integrations with SAP, ERP systems, third-party applications, and enterprise platforms using REST APIs, SOAP, MIF, and other integration technologies.
Perform functional analysis, fit-gap assessments, process mapping, solution design, and impact analysis.
Develop technical architecture, application designs, integration patterns, and solution blueprints aligned with enterprise standards.
Support Maximo implementations, upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and application modernization initiatives.
Work with Maximo database structures, SQL queries, performance tuning, and troubleshooting application-related issues.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Conduct system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production support.
Ensure application performance, scalability, security, data integrity, and compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, configuration guides, architecture diagrams, and deployment documentation.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, best practices, and guidance to development and functional teams.
Identify opportunities to improve asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, operational efficiency, and business process automation.
Required Technical Skills
Strong experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
Knowledge of Maximo modules, including Assets, Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory, Purchasing, and Service Management.
Experience with Maximo configuration, customization, workflows, automation scripts, and application development.
Proficiency in Java, SQL, database concepts, and Maximo application framework.
Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST APIs, SOAP web services, and enterprise integrations.
Understanding of Maximo database schema, application performance, troubleshooting, and data migration.
Experience with functional requirements gathering, solution design, technical documentation, and testing.
Knowledge of Maximo architecture, security, deployment, scalability, and system administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IBM Maximo 7.6 and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
Exposure to Maximo Manage, application upgrades, cloud deployments, and modernization projects.
Experience integrating Maximo with SAP or other enterprise ERP systems.
Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, reliability-centered maintenance, and maintenance operations.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, ServiceNow, and IT service management processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
