Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and business-ready solutions across complex enterprise initiatives. The role acts as a key quality advocate throughout the SDLC, coordinating testing activities, validating business and technical requirements, supporting vendor-delivered solutions, and providing independent quality assessments to support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead QA planning and coordination across multiple projects and releases.
Serve as the primary QA representative, providing quality assessments, risk insights, and testing recommendations.
Manage defects, testing priorities, environments, risks, and QA deliverables.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are testable and aligned with business objectives.
Plan and execute Functional, Integration, API, UAT/BAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
Review vendor testing strategies, deliverables, and test evidence to ensure compliance with business requirements and quality standards.
Coordinate testing readiness, deployment validation, and post-production verification activities.
Validate data integrity using manual and automated testing techniques.

Core Accountabilities

Develop QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and test assets.
Perform manual, API, database, backend, automated, and end-to-end testing.
Support non-functional testing, including Performance, Security, Accessibility, Reliability, and Usability testing.
Lead risk-based testing and testing readiness activities, including environment and test data preparation.
Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including triage, root cause analysis, retesting, and resolution tracking.
Validate third-party integrations, data flows, backup/recovery processes, and operational resiliency.
Prepare QA metrics, dashboards, test summary reports, and release readiness assessments.
Support continuous testing and automation initiatives to improve regression coverage and testing efficiency.

Education & Certification

Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Certification preferred.

Required Experience

10+ years of Quality Assurance experience in complex enterprise environments.
Strong experience in:
Functional, Integration, System, UAT/BAT, Performance, and End-to-End Testing.
Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar test management tools.
Agile and Iterative delivery methodologies.
Manual and Automated Testing practices.
Defect management, root cause analysis, and risk-based testing.
Stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional team collaboration.
Release readiness, deployment validation, and production support.
