Role: Terraform Developer
Location: Halifax, NS – Hybrid (4 Days WFO)
Duration: 6–12 Months Contract with possible extension
Pay: 55-60/Hr.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Terraform Developer / Cloud Infrastructure & Data Engineering Specialist to join the Aperture Data Insights team within Quantitative & Technology Services (QTS).
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python, and modern data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and networking issues.
- Work with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Support modern data platforms including Databricks and Snowflake.
- Work with query federation and data engineering concepts.
- Develop automation and tooling using Python.
- Manage code and artifacts using GitHub, Artifactory, and Nexus.
- Integrate SaaS solutions with enterprise systems.
- Ensure infrastructure is reliable, scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
