Tasks
- Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers and blow-drying machines
- Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches and other solutions and chemicals
- Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets and other articles
- Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers, and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts and other dry cleaned and laundered articles
- Assemble and bag finished articles
- Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
- Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles
- Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles
- Provide customer service

Responsibilities
Operate washing, dry-cleaning, drying, and finishing equipment; prepare and apply detergents and other chemicals. Fold, finish, inspect, assemble, and bag garments and other articles, record damage or cleaning issues, and provide customer service.
Requirements
The role requires 2 to less than 3 years of general dry-cleaning experience; no degree, certificate, or diploma is required. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and meet the stated communication, attention-to-detail, and teamwork expectations.
