Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamilton, ON. This position is responsible prospecting new business, coordinating daily transportation activities, including scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and communicating with carriers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure on-time performance. The Account Manager updates systems with accurate shipment and order information, and helps resolve service issues or delays in a professional and timely manner. The role includes reviewing logistics data to identify efficiencies, maintaining documentation and compliance records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution network. The Account Manager works closely with operations and customer service teams to provide responsive, high-quality support aligned with customer requirements.

Qualifications

Candidates must have exceptional phone manor and be eager to prospect for new business.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with carriers, internal teams, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive, professional relationships.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, particularly in transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with logistics or ERP software, strong organizational and time-management skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in Hamilton, ON, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment is required.
