About the Role
Langstaff Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in Fillware and comfortable working independently in a busy community pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Assist with prescription processing, data entry, and preparation.
- Manage prescription billing, insurance adjudication, and claim rejections.
- Handle inventory management, medication ordering, and stock control.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support pharmacists in maintaining an efficient dispensary workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Canadian community pharmacy experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Fillware (or similar) pharmacy software experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
