📍 Position Details

We are currently looking for a freelance Mandarin Chinese language tutor for one of our clients in Halifax.

• Course Type: General
• Format: one-to-one
• Total Hours: 32 (thirty-two)
• Session length: two hours (16 x 2-hour sessions)
• Location: at the teacher's (your) office/home or a public library in Halifax.
• Student: 20-year-old lady
• Current language level: Beginner
• Schedule: twice per week, ideally on Monday and Thursday, any time between 10am and 3pm
• Start Date: as soon as possible
• Student's Motivation: "I love Chinese art, books, music… and everything"

🎯 Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 30 km of the specified location

💼 Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance position, with part-time hours
• We are not able to sponsor visas
