📍 Position Details

We are currently looking for a freelance Portuguese (as spoken in Portugal) Teacher for one of our clients in Toronto, Canada.

• Format: one-to-one
• Total Hours: 20
• Session length: two-hours
• Location: Student's home in Leslieville, Toronto
• Student Level: Beginner
• Student Age Group: 35-44
• Student's Schedule: once per week, (Tuesday or Thursday preferred. Can't do Wednesday. Monday or Friday possible as a fallback. Time: evenings, roughly 6:00 to 8:00 pm)
• Student's Preferred Start Date: 2026-10-19/As soon as possible
• Student's Motivation: To be able to communicate with their spouse's Portuguese family and eventually visit Portugal comfortably.

🎯 Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Portuguese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 30 km of the specified location

💼 Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance position, with part-time hours
• We are not able to sponsor visas
