Reporting to the Supervisor, the Mixing Room Operator is responsible for preparing juice according to formulas. The incumbent is responsible for all equipment in the blending room as part of our continuous production/processing operations for juice and other beverage products. The person will monitor meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, etc. The Mixing Room Operator is also required to follow production specifications, laboratory instructions in the preparation of juices and other beverage products and make minor adjustments to equipment as necessary.

Key activities
- Follow weekly cleaning list.
- Follow batching procedures and sign off.
- Ensure batched product is checked by Quality Control prior to releasing.
- Execute Tank inspection and sign off.
- Receive bulk ingredients (Sugar/OJ Concentrate/NFC Cranberry/NFC Apple).
- Execute inspection/replacement of carbon filters (monthly).
- Operate production line equipment when requested.
- Organize ingredient drums (full or empty) into designated areas.
- Assist in inventory counts.
- Wash/clean mezzanine floors.
- Advise appropriate personnel regarding inventory and order requirements of mixing room ingredients.
- Follow CIP Procedures.
Required Training And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- 1 year of experience as a machine operator and/of forklift operator.
Skills sought
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Comfortable using computers and basic software applications.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Excellent math skills.
Specifics Of The Position
- Replace production forklift operator during breaks/emergency situations.
- Candidate must pass all the training and testing requirements for the Mixing Room Operator position in order to be considered for the position.
