About Latium Technologies
Latium Technologies provides next generation IoT, security, and real time monitoring
solutions for construction and industrial job sites. Our platform connects sensors,
cameras, alerts, hardware telemetry, and monitoring tools to help customers improve
visibility, response, and site safety.
Position Overview
Latium Technologies is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer, Microservices
Focused to support the strategic rebuild of our core platform.
This is a greenfield opportunity to help design and build a secure, scalable
microservices architecture from the ground up. The platform will operate in a dual cloud
environment using Azure and AWS, supporting real time alert data, hardware telemetry,
frontend web systems, and future cross platform mobile applications.
As a senior member of a lean engineering team, this role will help shape the backend
services layer by building high performance microservices, secure APIs, database
structures, and integrations across frontend, mobile, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
This role will also involve using modern AI development tools to support prototyping,
testing, documentation, automation, and delivery.
Responsibilities
The Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for:
● Backend Architecture & Microservices: Design and build scalable backend
services using C# and .NET Core, with a focus on reliability, performance, and
long term platform growth.
● API Development & Integration: Develop secure APIs that support web
applications, future mobile applications, and platform integrations.
● Cloud & Event Driven Systems: Support backend services in a dual cloud
environment using Azure and AWS, including event driven communication, alert
processing, and hardware telemetry.
● Data Management: Design, structure, and optimize SQL databases, data
models, and event streaming pipelines for real time and historical monitoring
data.
● Security & Access Control: Implement authentication, authorization, role based
access controls, token validation, SSO, and Azure Active Directory B2C
integration.
● Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, mobile, cloud,
infrastructure, and leadership teams to ensure the platform is connected, reliable,
and aligned with business needs.
● Development Standards: Help establish backend coding standards, error
handling, documentation, and automated testing practices.
● Modern Development Tools: Use AI assisted development tools and
automation where appropriate to support prototyping, testing, documentation,
and delivery.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7 or more years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
- Experience building enterprise scale APIs, backend services, background
workers, and microservices
- Experience with backend architecture, distributed systems, and cross stack
integration
- Practical experience developing, deploying, or monitoring applications in Azure,
AWS, or both
- Strong understanding of event driven systems, message brokers, queues, and
distributed state
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and performance
optimization
- Experience designing role based access control, permissions systems, and
secure API structures
- Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, and Azure Active Directory B2C
- Understanding of BDD, TDD, or similar automated testing practices
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with, or willingness to use, AI coding assistants and development
automation tools
Preferred Experience
Additional experience that would be considered an asset includes:
- Angular or React
- .NET MAUI or mobile backend development
- IoT platforms, hardware telemetry, alert management, dashboards, or asset
monitoring systems
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Containerized deployment workflows
- Experience working in a lean engineering environment
What We Offer
- Competitive salary.
- Health benefits.
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge IoT infrastructure at scale.
- A collaborative environment with strong technical leadership and room for
professional growth.
