The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team as an in Belle River, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the service agreement sales strategy in your territory, including building and managing a customer base, and generating leads for other business units.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Product Support Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

Drive new Service and Parts revenue within an assigned territory
Meet sales targets by adding accounts to maintenance programs and establishing maintenance plans for customers
Prospect for new business, effectively managing sales leads, and securing new customer accounts by offering tailored solutions
Maintain customer satisfaction and retention for assigned accounts
Retain and grow key accounts by proactively identifying new business opportunities and offering innovative solutions
Conduct regular customer site visits and meet with new prospective customers
Produce leads and opportunities for all Leavitt Machinery business units
Tactfully and professionally negotiate with customers to close deals
Track leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM
Develop expertise in material handling equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

At least two years of previous B2B outside sales experience
Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, operations management, sales, or a related field
Material handling or construction industry experience is a strong asset
Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using a CRM
A customer service mindset and a genuine interest in identifying innovative solutions for customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated to achieve results
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region

The pay range for this role is: $45,000 to $55,000 annually depending on experience, plus uncapped commission. Total on target earnings in the first year estimated at $80,000 to $100,000.

This is an onsite role based in Belle River, Ontario.
